Join the 7th international RESI-Student-Conference

BRING ON THE GOOD LIFE FOR ALL!- IMPROVING QUALITY OF LIFE IN IRAQ

Everyone should be able to live a decent life. However, when it comes to quality of life, Iraq often ranks last in international surveys. Scientists have identified many factors that impact life satisfaction and well being. Current models often lack an integrated perspective on the interplay of factors given the impact of current multiple crises in specific contexts. Voices and visions of young people need to be heard and considered.

Rethink Education and Science in Iraq-Student-Conferences are one week extracurricular events for university students, academics and civil society to engage into an interdisciplinary dialogue and exchange on challenges to reconstruction and reconciliation in post war Iraq. The next RESI-conference will take place from 12.-16. February 2023 at University of Mosul campus. Students, Academics and civil society members will be collaboratively reviewing scientific findings and developing ideas on how everyone can contribute to improving quality of life in Iraq. Results will be exhibited and discussed with regard to possible applications and policy considerations with the University presidency, professionals and policy makers in a big final public conference event.
