Building Futures Together –

8th RESI Conference in April 2024 at University of Mosul

STUDENTS SPEAK UP. ACADEMICS AND STAKEHOLDERS LEARN AND SUPPORT! A UNIQUE INTERDISCIPLINARY INTERGENERATIONAL DIALOGUE.

Collective action and collaboration is needed to address the pressing challenges facing our world today. We need new partnerships that allow a deeper understanding of the multifaceted nature of these challenges and embrace a global perspective while also recognizing the importance of local context and engagement. But how can we be more inclusive and transcend geographical, generational, and social divides? How can we ensure participation of individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and actively work to overcome historical divisions and injustices. And how can we facilitate dialogues and exchange to deepen our understanding of the complexities and identify potential avenues for collective action?

Your ideas are needed? Join the RESI student conference!

Rethink Education and Science in Iraq-Student-Conferences are one-week extracurricular events for university students, academics, and civil society to engage into an interdisciplinary dialogue and exchange on challenges to reconstruction and reconciliation in post-war Iraq. The next RESI conference will take place from April 21-25, 2024, at the Mosul University campus. Students, academics, and civil society members will be collaboratively reviewing scientific findings and developing ideas on how everyone can contribute to improving the quality of life in Iraq. Results will be exhibited and discussed with regard to possible applications and policy considerations with the university presidency, professionals, and policy makers in a big final public conference event.
